Login (WAYF) Pages
LibLynx login pages (also known as “where are you from” or WAYF pages), including the secondary pages that present institutional and individual access methods, are working towards compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA. These pages are also aligned with SeamlessAccess best practices for accessibility and were developed using WAVE (Web Accessibility Evaluation) tools as well as tested with screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Given this commitment, we present the current known exceptions to the WCAG 2.2 AA standards and the development planned to address these gaps. Our roadmap includes the following initiatives:
- Color contrast improvements
- Auto-complete instructions
- Proper labeling and focus state for input fields
- Hiding decorative items, such as icons
- Accessibility audits are pending for the following services:
- Self-registration WAY (who are you) pages
Additionally, we are committed to an annual review of our product development practices against accessibility standards and best practices.

LibLynx library portals and all subpages are currently designed to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA.
Given this commitment, we provide the following affordances for users with disabilities:

- No use of tooltips or other hidden text/features
The following are known exceptions to the WCAG 2.2 AA standards and the development planned to address these gaps:
- Some headings and reading order need to be refined (e.g., help page)
- Alt text required for all images and hyperlinks
Additionally, we are committed to an annual review of our product development practices against accessibility standards and best practices.
Publisher portal

Given this commitment, we provide the following affordances for users with disabilities:
- Color contrast and best practice in use of color
- Screenreader access to most components
- Keyboard controls are now fully functional
- No use of tooltips or other hidden text/features
We are also committed to improving our compliance rating to WCAG 2.2 AA. An Accessibility Compliance Report is forthcoming.
